About me.

Recently graduated frontend developer with a broad perspective: From backend to frontend, graphics and content.

I love playing around with details. The right font can change everything.
Yes. I mean it.

HTML/CSS and jQuery are my best buddies. I'm also kinda friendly with Adobe Photoshop CC.

Contentwise I'm very comfortable working in wordpress, meaning I got lots of experience writing and playing around with it, but also hold a basic understanding of the database parts of it.

I know my way around bootstrap, I'm even starting to get kind of comfortable with it, but my one true love regarding website building is flexbox.

When I don't hang out with my computer - like the true geek that I am - I like running, cuddle and being silly with my boyfriend (and my cats), take a drink or two with my friends or spend some time with my xbox. You know, the usual stuff.

Background.

10 years as a shipping company employee later.

In 2006 I took a job for the summer in the port of Nynäshamn, where I'm pretty much born and raised. It was good, I got to know a lot of great people and the work was comprehensive with a lot of different assignments. I thought that it was a good place to figure out what I wanted to do next.

Long story short (if you want to, I can tell you the long version but honestly it's kind of boring, so let's cut to the chase, for now): After a few years I felt that I was stuck in my job role and started to look into educations. It started with a one year Programmer education. During this year I quickly realized that my big passion and interest was in the front end area. I took a handful different classes in the subject of developing for the web, and ended up on a - for the time - new two year education program, learning Frontend development.

On a side note, the people I got to know during these two years are still a bunch of my absolute favorite human beings. With that said: I know that this was the right path for me.

Flexbox-theme for Blogger

julblogg

I wanted to mix business with pleasure and build a fully responsive theme to my christmas blog (yes, I do have one of those). You could say that this theme reflects my feelings towards christmas: It's a bit... "extra everything".

Framework: TAP (Tidy And Playful) css (final project, Frontend development edu.)

tap css framework

For my final project during the Frontend development education program, I chose to write my own html/css framework.
